Job Type: Full-timeCore Duties
  • Conduct routine non-destructive testing (NDT) on piping, equipment, and welds using ultrasonic flaw detectors, radiography, dye penetrant, and hardness testing methods.
  • Perform daily thickness measurements and surveys as part of ADNOC's Corrosion and Inspection Management System.
  • Develop and submit NDT reports with findings for review and interpretation by Inspection Engineers.
  • Carry out thermographic inspections of furnace tubes and operate magnetic flux leakage tools for tube assessments.
  • Assist with alloy analysis for metallurgy identification in warehouse and workshop operations.
  • Coordinate and monitor intelligent pigging surveys on main oil lines, trunk lines, and transfer pipelines, recording and verifying reported anomalies.
  • Maintain inspection equipment, tools, and records in operational condition while ensuring safe handling of radiation sources.
  • Identify and mark defect locations on pipelines in line with IPS reports and inspection standards.
  • Provide on-the-job training support for UAE National trainees under competency-based development programs.
Ideal Profile
  • Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in NDT or related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience in ultrasonic testing (UT), dye penetrant testing (PT), radiography, and thermographic inspection within oil and gas or petrochemical facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE requirements, ADNOC safety standards, and safe handling of radiation sources.
  • Skilled in using inspection tools, interpreting engineering drawings, and documenting anomalies.
  • Ability to prepare reports, follow inspection procedures, and comply with ADNOC's inspection management systems.
  • Effective communication and time management skills, with the ability to work in critical field environments.
