Join us.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inspector - Civil to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of civil engineering projects throughout the city and surrounding areas.

Conduct thorough inspections of civil engineering projects, including buildings, infrastructure, and other construction works
Verify that construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, and relevant UAE building codes and regulations
Perform quality control checks on materials and workmanship to ensure adherence to project standards and local requirements
Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, deficiencies, and recommended corrective actions
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure project success
Monitor and enforce safety regulations on construction sites in accordance with UAE standards
Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Participate in project meetings and provide expert advice on civil engineering matters
Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and project documentation
Stay up-to-date with industry standards, UAE regulations, and best practices in civil engineering and construction
Travel to various project sites within Abu Dhabi and surrounding areas as required

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering or construction inspection
Proficiency in civil engineering principles and practices, with expertise in UAE construction standards
In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality control procedures
Excellent ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
Thorough understanding of local building codes and regulations in Abu Dhabi
Familiarity with UAE construction standards and practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Willingness to work on-site in various locations throughout Abu Dhabi and surrounding areas
Valid UAE driver's license
Professional certifications in civil engineering or construction inspection (preferred)
