Job Title: Crewman Instructor (CH47, UH-60)Salary: Negotiable dependent upon experience (tax free)Location: Abu DhabiWe currently have a vacancy to join a leading provider of comprehensive aviation services based in the Middle East, as Crewman Instructor (CH47, UH-60). The role will be based in Abu Dhabi and offers a full relocation package for the successful candidate.The company specialises in delivering customised aviation maintenance, repair, overhaul, logistics and supply chain services to military and civil aviation customers across the region. Whilst their head office is based in Abu Dhabi, they have a number of operational facilities across various UAE military bases and aviation sites. The company plays a key role in supporting the UAE Armed Forces and other regional air forces. They support a wide range of both fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft including military helicopters such as Black Hawks, Chinooks and Apaches as well as transport aircraft such as C130 Hercules. Their services include line and base maintenance, avionics, airframe and engine repair and comprehensive logistical support.The Crewman Instructor (CH-47, UH-60) is responsible for delivering academic and practical instruction on technical subjects and tactical training activities within a Special Operations Aviation crewman training program. The instructor is required to develop, analyse, and produce training publications and syllabi. Additionally, the role includes performing continuation training and crewman duties as needed to support the customer’s training activities and operational missions. This position reports directly to the Senior Crewman Instructor.Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement academic and flight training programs in support of the unit's Aircrew Training Program for crew members.
  • Create lesson plans, training aids, and study guides tailored to mission and qualification requirements.
  • Develop and administer written, oral, and in-flight evaluations.
  • Conduct aircraft qualifications, refresher training, NVG (Night Vision Goggle) qualifications, mission-specific training, and door gunnery instruction.
  • Oversee the management of individual aircrew training records and provide training on the initiation and maintenance of all required documentation.
  • Perform ground and flight evaluations in accordance with applicable regulations and the Aircrew Training Manual.
  • Deliver classroom and informal instruction sessions as needed.
  • Assist in the development and revision of unit regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Aircrew Training Manuals, and tactical guidance including techniques and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing continuation training for crew members during all training and operational support missions.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours as required by operational demands.
