Context:We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Designer to join our consultancy team for a major transportation infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in irrigation design, particularly in compliance with Dubai Municipality and RTA guidelines and standards. The role requires close coordination with landscape architects, infrastructure engineers, and government stakeholders to ensure sustainable and efficient irrigation solutions for transportation corridors and public realms. Missions/Main Duties:

Lead the irrigation design scope for transportation and infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and review detailed irrigation design drawings, schematics, calculations, and specifications.
Ensure full compliance with Dubai Municipality (DM), RTA, DEWA, and other relevant authorities’ regulations and design guidelines.
Develop water demand calculations, hydraulic analysis, and zoning plans based on plant species and site conditions.
Prepare BoQs, technical reports, and irrigation system layouts using CAD and relevant software.
Coordinate with landscape, civil, electrical, and utilities teams to ensure irrigation integration within multidisciplinary design packages.
Participate in design review meetings, technical workshops, and respond to client/authority comments.
Assist in obtaining design NOCs and approvals from concerned authorities including DM and RTA.
Support site teams during the construction stage with technical clarifications and irrigation inspections.

Profile/Skills:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture/Irrigation Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or related field.Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE.Background:

Proven experience working with Dubai Municipality and RTA on infrastructure or transportation-related projects.
In-depth knowledge of local regulations, irrigation codes, and sustainability guidelines (e.g. SA’FAT, LEED is a plus).
Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software. AutoCAD, MS Office.

Strong coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines for RTA projects
