We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to lead Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) and compliance activities within our food operations. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory and certification compliance, driving continuous improvement, and providing hands-on leadership for audits, training, and corrective actions.Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of QHSE experience in the food industry.
  • Approved Dubai Municipality trainer for Basic Food Safety Training.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000:2018, FSSC 22000, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ESG and sustainability certifications.
  • Familiarity with UAE GSO standards, ESMA and Dubai Municipality regulations.
  • Skilled in risk assessment, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Experience in training delivery, internal & supplier auditing, and certification management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain compliance with regulatory (UAE/GSO) requirements and certification systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
  • Identify and assess risks related to food safety, employee safety, and environmental impact; develop and implement mitigation plans.
  • Plan and deliver QHSE training programs across the organization.
  • Investigate customer complaints, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor and analyze QHSE performance trends monthly and report findings to stakeholders.
  • Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
  • Work with suppliers/service providers to ensure compliance with QHSE requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive QHSE improvements and initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of compliance activities and corrective actions.
  • Report QHSE/HSE performance and key metrics to management.
