- Oversee the accurate receiving, inspection, and storage of raw materials, ensuring adherence to quality standards and preventing delays in production.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize storage space for efficient material flow.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to the manufacturing floor, proactively addressing any potential shortages or disruptions.
- Maintain detailed records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns, utilizing inventory management software for data accuracy.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols within the store, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Supervise and train store personnel, providing guidance on proper handling, storage, and inventory management procedures.
- Collaborate with purchasing and procurement departments to ensure the timely ordering of materials and resolve any discrepancies in deliveries.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and storage areas to identify and address any issues related to damage, obsolescence, or security breaches.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, material usage, and store performance to management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of improved store procedures and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of experience in store operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Proficient in using ERP systems and inventory management software, with experience in SAP or similar systems preferred.
- Demonstrates fluency in English and any other languages are a plus.
- Exhibits strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Is a self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
