The Category Finance & FP&A Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and operational performance of our organization. This position is designed for a seasoned finance professional who can drive financial planning and analysis across various categories, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial metrics and a proven track record in managing complex financial models. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance and support decision-making processes.Responsibilities: * Lead the financial planning and analysis process for multiple categories, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business initiatives and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create budgets and forecasts that align with organizational goals.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvements to drive financial efficiency.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting trends and variances.
  • Manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement across categories.
  • Support strategic projects and initiatives by providing financial insights and analysis.
Preferred Candidate: * Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey financial information.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
