- Manage and maintain full sets of accounts for multiple business entities within the group.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations across all group entities.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with International Financial
- Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Perform bank reconciliations for all group accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution
- of discrepancies.
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
- Handle VAT and Corporate Tax registration, filing, and refund processes in compliance with
- local laws and regulations.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns and coordinate with tax advisors or
- authorities as needed.
- Manage and control petty cash disbursements, reconciliation, and documentation. Supervise
- petty cash management across all departments or branches, ensuring proper control and
- documentation.
- Supervise month-end and year-end closing processes for all companies within the group.
- Prepare financial analysis and management reports for decision-making purposes.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closings, including journal entries, accruals, and
- provisions.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of
- audit queries.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate
- financial reporting.
- Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Support ERP/accounting software implementation, migration, or optimization as required.
- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or similar qualification is a plus.)
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a group of companies or multi-industry organization.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in IFRS, VAT, and corporate tax compliance.
- Proven experience in financial consolidation across multiple entities and sectors.
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, Oracle, SAP).
- Excellent understanding of cash flow management, cost control, and financial risk assessment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
