DP World is hiring a NOC and Authority Liaison Officer to manage planning approvals, design reviews, and regulatory compliance for development and infrastructure projects within JAFZA and other DP World zones. - Process and manage No Objection Certificate (NOC) applications including landscaping, demolition, and structural modifications
- Review design concepts and drawings for compliance with JAFZA, Trakhees, DEWA, RTA, and other authority standards
- Evaluate planning documentation such as masterplans and visa calculations in line with Design Control Regulations (DCR)
- Liaise with tenants, internal planning teams, and external authorities to coordinate development data such as utilities, infrastructure, and traffic layouts
- Monitor and guide development activities across allocated and non-allocated plots, ensuring regulatory alignment
- Review and approve plot allocation requests after thorough compliance checks
- Conduct site visits and work closely with authorities like DEWA and Civil Defense to resolve inspection issues and obtain final approvals
- Engage tenants directly to resolve design and planning concerns, providing guidance on regulatory standards
- Maintain strong communication with government entities and utility agencies to facilitate efficient permit processing
- Track status of all submitted applications and maintain a complete record of permits, inspections, approvals, and correspondence
- Proven experience in regulatory compliance, government liaison, or infrastructure project coordination
- Familiarity with UAE planning regulations and authorities including JAFZA, Trakhees, DEWA, and RTA
- Strong understanding of infrastructure planning, building permits, and design regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and maintain accurate records
- Background in civil engineering, urban planning, or architecture is preferred
