Parsons Corporation is seeking a Safety Engineer to join its Dubai team. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with corporate and regional HSE policies, safety legislation, and client requirements. Job Type: Full-timeWhat You'll Do
- Implement corporate HSE policy, safety plans, and regional legislation, and monitor performance against targets
- Ensure client safety requirements are fully met on-site
- Liaise with safety managers and contractors to improve and enforce HSE standards
- Review and monitor contractors' safety plans, emergency plans, risk analyses, and method statements
- Conduct HSE inspections, report findings, and ensure immediate corrective actions
- Monitor monthly contractor safety reports and inspections
- Lead monthly safety meetings, set targets, and track outstanding issues
- Review incident and accident reports, communicate lessons learned, and ensure corrective measures are implemented
- Oversee emergency preparedness, permit-to-work systems, toolbox talks, and HSE statistics documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health or Engineering with approved safety qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in highways, bridges, and underpass projects within the UAE
- Recognized certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, Safety Diploma, Fire Safety, First Aid, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality codes, RTA circulars, technical guidelines, and federal safety laws
- Desired: ISO audit training (ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and reporting skills
- Ability to attend in-person interviews in the UAE
- Work on iconic infrastructure projects across Dubai and the UAE
