And we're looking for more people like this to join our dynamic & committed team at the InterContinental Fujairah Resort.Your Day to Day:As an Assistant Bar & Lounge Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the bar and lounge, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maximizing revenue, and maintaining high standards of service, product quality, and hygiene. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to motivate and develop a professional team.Some of your main role responsibilities are:
  • Drive the smooth daily operations of the bar & lounge, ensuring service excellence and efficiency at all times.
  • Lead by example in delivering personalized guest experiences, maintaining a high-profile presence on the floor.
  • Oversee beverage programs, including menu development, seasonal promotions, and innovative mixology concepts.
  • Manage financial performance: control costs, monitor budgets, analyze sales trends, and maximize revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Train, coach, and inspire the team to achieve service excellence.
  • Implement upselling strategies and service techniques to boost guest satisfaction and profitability.
  • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, turning challenges into positive experiences.
  • Monitor inventory and stock control systems to minimize wastage and optimize ordering.
  • Collaborate with F&B and Marketing teams on promotions, special events, and activations to drive business.
  • Uphold brand standards, ensuring consistency in service, product quality, and overall guest atmosphere.
Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:
  • Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in bar, lounge, or beverage management, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, wines, spirits, and beverage trends.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
  • Strong financial acumen and knowledge of cost control.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
