- Participate in preparation of platters under the guidance of his supervisor and in accordance with the established recipe cards and methods.
- Prepare all food items for kitchen and mise en place as requested.
- Assist in buffet setup and decoration.
- Ensure during meal period that buffet table is kept replenished and attractive for the duration of service.
- Adhere to portion control policies / standard, plating and presentation instructions.
- Store all cold food according to established procedures and standards.
- Keep kitchen clean and orderly.
- Comply with Fairmont Quasar Istanbul hygiene and sanitation standards and with hotel's health and safety policy.
- Perform other duties assigned by his / her Supervisor
- Previous experience in the culinary field required
- Diploma\Certification in a Culinary discipline an asset
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Turkish citizen
