Technical Engineer - Electrical Systems - Dubai, UAEPosition OverviewAzizi Developments is seeking a qualified Technical Engineer - Electrical to support our expanding portfolio of building construction projects in Dubai. This position requires a hands-on engineer with strong command of electrical systems including LV, lighting, fire alarm, and ELV, with a proven track record in technical review, design compliance, and site coordination in the UAE.Job Location: Dubai, UAE

  • Review electrical drawings, project specs, and technical documentation to ensure alignment with design and authority guidelines
  • Coordinate on-site electrical implementation with consultants, contractors, and internal teams
  • Prepare and review shop drawings, load schedules, single-line diagrams, and technical submittals
  • Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to DEWA and other local authority regulations
  • Assist in resolving technical issues and clarifying design discrepancies during execution
  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance throughout all electrical works
  • Support the testing, commissioning, and successful handover of electrical systems
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in electrical engineering for high-rise or residential building projects
  • Deep understanding of power distribution systems, lighting layouts, fire alarms, and low current systems
  • Familiar with DEWA regulations, local codes, and construction best practices in the UAE
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and common electrical design and coordination tools
  • Strong coordination, documentation, and communication abilities
