Join us.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor specializing in infrastructure and road projects to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our construction management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our projects through accurate cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for infrastructure and road projects
Develop and manage project budgets, forecasting costs throughout the project lifecycle
Analyze contract documents and prepare tender packages
Negotiate and administer contracts with contractors and suppliers
Perform quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities
Monitor project costs and report on variances
Prepare and analyze cost reports for project stakeholders
Assess and value variations and claims
Assist in the resolution of contractual disputes
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to optimize project costs
Stay updated on local construction regulations and standards in the UAE

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
Professional certification from a recognized institution (e.g., RICS, AACE)
Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying for infrastructure and road projects
Experience working in the Middle East, preferably in the UAE
Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Causeway)
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
In-depth knowledge of infrastructure and road construction processes
Familiarity with construction contracts and procurement processes
Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards in the UAE
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
