  • Conduct inspections to ensure construction materials and works comply with contract specifications
  • Oversee demolition, roadworks, bridges, sidewalks, landscaping, and drainage works
  • Inspect electrical installations related to traffic signals, lighting, and ramp metering systems
  • Monitor irrigation, planting, roadway signage, mechanical equipment, and facility construction
  • Take daily site photographs and maintain organized project documentation
  • Verify that only approved and certified materials are used in the works
  • Collect and review certificates of compliance, MSDS, inspection tags, and related material documentation
  • Maintain as-built plans, daily diaries, and prepare reports to support project tracking
  • Recognize and report potential conflicts or quality issues, proposing corrective actions
  • Support the preparation of safety reports and quality control documentation
  • Monitor installed quantities to verify payment applications and change orders
  • Provide technical guidance to junior inspectors and coordinate work of sub-consultants for material testing
  • Respond to site emergencies or urgent inspection needs as required
Ideal Profile
  • Diploma/Associate Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or related technical field
  • Minimum 7 years of inspection experience in roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects
  • Dubai Central Laboratory (DCL) Approval is mandatory
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and construction specifications
  • Strong familiarity with construction methods, material quality standards, and inspection procedures
  • Good communication and reporting skills with attention to detail
  • Proactive problem-solving approach with ability to identify issues early and recommend solutions
