- Plan, prepare, and present daily meals and special event menus, adapting to individual preferences, dietary needs, and seasonal ingredients.
- Lead the full kitchen team with a hands-on, collaborative approach; support, train, and mentor junior chefs and domestic staff as necessary.
- Design, update, and execute bespoke menus, curating exceptional culinary experiences for the principal family and their guests.
- Coordinate and supervise all food preparation, kitchen operations, and timely service, maintaining the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Source the highest quality ingredients through trusted suppliers, maintaining local and international connections for premium produce.
- Oversee kitchen inventories, manage stock rotation, and ensure optimal organisation, budgeting, and waste minimisation.
- Ensure full compliance with all food safety, cleanliness, and health & safety standards at all times.
- Oversee rigorous kitchen cleaning schedules and inspection readiness; maintain accurate records relating to allergen management and food provenance.
- Promptly report and proactively resolve any maintenance or equipment issues, minimising operational disruption.
- Significant experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef within luxury private households, superyachts, or high-end hospitality environments.
- Exceptional culinary skills across a variety of cuisines, with proven ability to tailor menus for specific dietary requirements, allergies, and preferences.
- Professional, trustworthy, and discreet in all aspects of service; adept at operating in high-expectation, confidential environments.
- Resilient, solution-oriented, and flexible; comfortable managing rapidly changing schedules and requests with composure.
- Outstanding communication, team leadership, and interpersonal skills, able to work harmoniously with staff, contractors, and family members alike.
- Impeccable attention to detail, organisational skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications in food safety and hygiene.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills advantageous.
- International experience or exposure to multiple cuisines and cultures.
- Experience supporting luxury events, entertaining, or formal dining occasions at the highest level.
