Job Description: Description of activities and key responsibilities of the functionFabricate and assemble steel moulds and other mechanical components according to technical drawings and specifications.Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings to understand job requirements.Take precise measurements and mark material for cutting and assembly.Operate cutting, bending, welding, and other fabrication tools and machinery.Inspect fabricated components for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to resolve fabrication challenges and ensure timely project completion.Perform maintenance and minor repairs on fabrication tools and equipment.Collaborating with team members to complete projects.Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.Performing routine maintenance on equipment and machinery. Perform basic work related to the job and area assigned which requires minimal training and skill level.Use, supply, or hold materials or tools, in providing work assistance to assigned skilled workers.Clean work areas, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site.Report unsafe acts and conditions to your supervisor.Do not carry out any task if you are not trained or authorized to do so.HSE Behavioral SkillsAdhere to NMDC HSE Policy.Follow the HSE Management System procedures and safe working instructions.Educational Qualifications & Certifications:At least Primary-level finishedSafe welding operation (Certificate is Mandatory) & Understanding the drawingsRelevant experienceProven experience as a Fabricator.Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong time management skills.Physical stamina and strength.Attention to detail.Good communication skills.Years of experience2 years minimumRole Specific CompetenciesBlueprint ReadingSafety RegulationsLanguage skillsRequired: English
