- In Material and Corrosion in oil & gas project/industry specially for onshore fields - 15 years minimum is required
- In project at all life-cycle stages of project development (Basic and Detailed Engineering, Construction, etc)
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Materials/Metallurgy, Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or related disciplines
- Knowledge of corrosion degradation mechanisms and experience in corrosion monitoring and analysis.
- Hands on experience on Corrosion rate calculation on software like Predict, ECE, etc
- Corrosion engineering
- Aqueous chemistry
- Fluid to metal interactions
- Corrosion mechanisms
- Risk assessment
- Root cause failure analysis
- Corrosion modelling
- Mentoring and guidance
- Communication skills
- The job holder assists and reports to the Engineering Manager.
- The job holder is entitled to comply with rules and requirements of Project.
- The job holder brings support in Material and Corrosion Engineering
- The job holder may have to liaise, as requested, with Iraq affiliate Engineering Dpt.
- The job holder shall observe strict confidentiality in the performance of his duties.
- The job holder is also accountable for demonstrating individually an exemplary behaviour regarding HSSE rules & requirements
