Job Type: Full TimeWhat You'll Do
Supervise the assigned kitchen station or section to ensure consistent, high-quality output in line with Accor Standards Policies & Procedures.
Prepare requisitions for all items needed for the next day with assistance from the Chef de Partie or senior chef on duty.
Prioritize, plan, and organize daily tasks to ensure timely delivery of all dishes.
Follow instructions and work closely with senior chefs, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef.
Assist in preparing mise en place and work on the assigned station under the appropriate Chef de Partie or senior chef.
Report to your station at scheduled times, whether starting a shift or returning from a break.
Adhere to standard recipes, photos, and plating presentations to maintain quality and consistency.
Keep all work areas and refrigerators clean and organized following sanitary requirements, including FIFO procedures.
Follow HACCP guidelines and municipality regulations at all times.
Taste and season dishes appropriately, ensuring presentation and quality meet required standards before service.
Proactively learn, test, and experience global cuisines through training or self-study.
Minimize waste and assist in meeting budgeted food cost levels.
Maintain cooperative relationships with team members.
Leave sufficient mise en place for the next shift and follow shift-handover SOPs.
Accommodate special dietary requests or preferences from guests when possible.
Handle and rotate food in line with established procedures.Ideal Profile
Previous Commis Chef experience, preferably in hotels.
Culinary certificate, diploma, or apprenticeship is an advantage.
Creative, passionate about food, and committed to exceptional customer service.
Strong time and task management skills.
Ability to thrive in high-pressure kitchen environments.
