Plans, supervises, and coordinates daily mechanical maintenance activities.
Performs alignment, fitting, and adjustments of mechanical parts to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Supports preventive maintenance programs by performing scheduled mechanical fitting tasks.
Assists during breakdowns and emergency repairs to restore plant operations.
Ensures proper handling and usage of tools, equipment, and lifting devices.
Follows safety procedures and uses appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintains records of work activities, materials used, and repairs conducted. 2.9 Coordinates with engineers, supervisors, and other teams during maintenance and installation tasks.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Senior Engineer.
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Certificate in Mechanical or Fitting Trade or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanical fitter, preferably in power or industrial plants.
Ability to read technical drawings and use mechanical tools.
Good knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
