Guest experience is a true British heritage and history with a visit to one of the world's most celebrated ocean liners, now permanently docked in the new marina at Dubai's Port Rashid in the UAE.Job DescriptionThe RoleEnsuring the effective and efficient operations of the Stewarding Department cleaning processes and maintenance of health, safety and hygiene in all F&B areas. Being responsible to assist Chief Steward for HACCP Standards.
  • Organize the store efficiently and maintain high hygiene standards.
  • Ensure cleanliness in all storage areas, including shelves and chillers.
  • Regularly monitor storage temperatures of chillers, freezers & dry store.
  • Record temperature readings diligently.
  • Communicate any temperature variations immediately to the Engineering Department and Chief Steward
  • Adhere to HACCP procedures and policies to ensure food safety.
  • Help in issuing food items to F&B outlets and kitchens based on approved requests from the Executive Chef.
  • Report activities and any issues to the Chief Steward.
Qualifications
  • Previous relevant experience similar role within the hospitality industry is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in food safety or hospitality management are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and HACCP principles.
  • Knowledge of cleaning processes and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and record-keeping.
