- Prepare and submit technical documentation, permit applications, and other required paperwork to relevant authorities
- Technical review of drawings as per Authority standards and make necessary changes to drawings as per Authority standards if required.
- Analyze and interpret local and international engineering standards and regulations to ensure project compliance
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in government agencies and regulatory bodies
- Conduct regular meetings with internal teams to communicate regulatory requirements and updates
- Monitor and track the progress of permit applications and approvals
- Identify potential regulatory issues and propose solutions to mitigate risks
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure designs meet local requirements and standards
- Prepare comprehensive reports on liaison activities, regulatory changes, and project status for senior management
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Architecture, or related field)
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in engineering liaison roles, in the Abu Dhabi
- Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory framework and approval processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with government officials and internal stakeholders
