Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • 8–10 years of interior fit-out design experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven ability in coordinating architectural and MEP design for commercial fit-out projects.
  • Knowledge of UAE authority codes and approval processes.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design principles preferred.
Competencies:
  • Strong leadership and team management.
  • Technical expertise in architectural and MEP coordination.
  • Effective client communication and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Design Department across architectural, interior, and MEP disciplines.
  • Define and implement department goals, design standards, workflows, and quality benchmarks.
  • Oversee internal design teams and external consultants.
  • Direct all MEP design deliverables including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and ELV systems.
  • Ensure coordination of MEP systems with architectural and interior layouts.
  • Validate technical submissions, drawings, and authority compliance.
  • Manage full design lifecycle from concept through construction drawings.
  • Approve key design packages including layouts, finishes, and shop drawings.
  • Coordinate with project, construction, QS, and procurement teams.
  • Engage directly with clients, lead presentations, and conduct design reviews.
  • Ensure all work aligns with regulatory codes and authority approvals.
  • Provide structured reports and design KPIs to senior management.
  • Mentor and support design staff; oversee recruitment and performance.
