Throughout this journey, the Junior Planning Engineer will benefit from specialized technical training and ongoing support from a dedicated team, with the primary goal of preparing the individual for assignment to one of the Group's projects in a site role. Working closely with experienced colleagues and senior professionals, the candidate will be fully integrated into project site planning activities, acquiring hands-on experience and growing within a dynamic, collaborative environment.Duties and responsibilitiesSupport daily site planning activities, contributing to the preparation and updating of work schedules under the guidance of the Planning team.Assist with collecting and verifying physical progress data on site, working alongside site managers and subcontractors.Participate in evaluating the feasibility of construction schedules based on document deliveries and material availability.Collaborate with the Material Control team to ensure alignment between supply chain and project plans.Help draft weekly and monthly progress reports, following Project Control guidelines.Actively engage in specialized training sessions covering planning, scheduling, software, and project control procedures.Support the preparation of progress curves, manpower histograms, and resource analyses, developing technical skills through practical and theoretical mentoring.Person SpecificationKnowledge & QualificationsDegree, preferably in engineering (civil, industrial, management and similar) or equivalent.ExperienceWork experience between 0 and 12 months; short internships or traineeships will also be considered.Strong motivation to learn and keen interest in project planning and controls within the construction sector.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar) is an advantage.Skills and AbilitiesGood communication skills and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.Attention to detail, precision, and information quality.Proactive approach, strong observational skills, and problem-solving attitude.Excellent command of English languageSpecial Requirements and CommentsAttention to detail, management skills
