- Prepare and cook Filipino dishes and other meals as per menu or requirements.
- Ensure all meals are cooked in accordance with hygiene and food safety standards.
- Plan daily/weekly menus in coordination with the Head Cook or Camp Boss.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, cooking utensils, and storage areas.
- Monitor food supplies and assist in requisitioning ingredients and kitchen materials.
- Ensure proper storage of food items to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.
- Cater to special dietary needs or requests when required.
- Assist in training and guiding kitchen helpers or assistants.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation policies.
- Minimum 6-8 years of proven experience as a Cook, preferably with expertise in Filipino cuisine.
- Willingness to work in remote project sites or camp environments.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with multicultural work environments.
- Knowledge of food handling, kitchen safety, and hygiene practices.
- Ability to prepare meals in large quantities (for staff or project catering).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to work long hours, including weekends or shifts if required.
