Senior Process Engineer – Wastewater Treatment

• Bachelor’s in Chemical, Environmental, or Process Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 12+ years in water/wastewater process engineering, with UAE/GCC experience strongly preferred.
• Expertise in STP, RO/UF, MBR, MBBR, sludge, and odour control systems.
• Skilled in developing PFDs, P&IDs, performing mass and hydraulic calculations.

• Develop and optimize treatment processes for water and wastewater plants, considering flow rates, contaminant levels, water quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Create PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment layouts to define treatment processes clearly.
• Perform key calculations: mass balance, hydraulic flow, and process efficiency to support design and system performance.
• Select equipment (pumps, membranes, filters, dosing units) suitable for process objectives.
• Prepare equipment specs, datasheets, procurement docs to guide purchasing and installation.
• Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies and process issues during construction or operation. Collaborate with operations teams to implement solutions.
• Ensure designs adhere to UAE and GCC regulations and meet environmental and discharge standards.
• Work closely with civil, mechanical, electrical, and drafting teams.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, and project status meetings.

• Maintain thorough records of calculations, simulations, design documents.
• Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in treatment processes.
• Recommend innovative methods to improve performance and sustainability.
