- Identify customer challenges and position our finance & risk solutions to business users and C-level decision makers.
- Respond to RFIs/RFP articulating the solution to business requirements.
- Deliver successful demonstrations and Proof of Concept for our product range for the solution in scope.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the Finance and/or Risk functions and present strong business propositions backed by Oracle's offering for these functions.
- Stay abreast with local and global developments in the field of financial services risk & finance, specializing in Accounting, Financial Reporting, Risk Management, Regulatory requirements, Artificial Intelligence, Data Management et al.
- Work with the sales team in identifying strategy for a given account and region.
- Lead and co-ordinate across teams of cross-functional experts, product owners and consulting resources to deliver and drive end-to-end sales support for opportunities.
· Build and execute Sales Plays based on industry demands and product strategy.
- Assist sales in business development and pipeline generation.
- Represent Oracle in industry and marketing events.
- Publish blogs, whitepapers, articles and speak at events to exhibit thought leadership.
What You'll BringA seasoned financial services professional with minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Banking, Consulting, Presales, ideally MBA qualified with solid domain knowledge.
- Strong experience in finance and/or risk in financial services with understanding of either or both of:
o Enterprise Risk - Basel, IFRS 9, Stress Testing, Modeling
- Experience would have been gained as pre-sales for a technology company within financial services or alternatively for an auditing or consulting firm, or in a Bank/NBFC handling such functions
- Certifications like CFA, CA, FRM, PRMIA demonstrating expertise in Risk & Finance, Accounting etc.
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS, Cloud architecture) and AI / ML modeling etc. will be a plus.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to deliver presentations to CXOs and business heads and ability to interact effectively with different levels of management and business users
- The candidate is expected to spend a significant portion of their time traveling and meeting with clients face to face across Middle East and Africa
- Sales flair to enable consultative and value selling
- Appreciation of technology and ability to relate to customer needs
- Team player as well as excellent people management skills
- Independent problem solving skills
- Ability to operate in undefined and self-service environment
- Fluent in English. Arabic and French skills desirable
