This role is essential in delivering advanced ISR, EW, and payload systems that meet the operational, environmental, and regulatory requirements of our defense customers. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners to ensure our platforms are mission-ready, secure, and performance-optimized.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and manage system-level requirements for mission payloads including EO/IR, SIGINT, COMINT, and tactical datalinksDevelop architecture and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for integration with avionics, sensors, and autopilotsLead integration of COTS and custom mission systems onto UAV platformsDevelop and execute V&V plans across ground, simulation, and flight testing environmentsAnalyze telemetry and test data to validate mission system performanceEnsure compliance with DO-178C, DO-254, MIL-STD-461/810, and GCAA/MoD standardsPrepare system documentation for certification, traceability, and configuration controlParticipate in SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and QR reviews; engage with suppliers and defense end-usersRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Avionics, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or related field (required)Master's degree in Systems or Mission Engineering (preferred)10-15 years of experience in aerospace defense or UAV mission systems engineeringProven expertise in integrating ISR and RF-based payloads on UAV or manned aircraftFamiliarity with regulatory frameworks and military system integrationTechnical ToolsSystems engineering tools: IBM DOORS, Polarion, SysML/UMLCommunication protocols: ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, CAN, Ethernet, UARTEnvironments: VxWorks, QNX, Embedded LinuxTesting: HIL platforms, telemetry analysis tools, flight test planningStandards: DO-178C, DO-254, MIL-STD-810/461, GCAA airworthinessIdeal AttributesStrategic systems thinker with strong technical leadershipExcellent communicator and technical documenterCross-functional collaborator who thrives in a high-security, mission-critical environmentDetail-oriented with a commitment to platform safety, compliance, and performanceProactive, adaptable, and outcome-focusedWhy Join ADASIAt ADASI, you'll work with some of the brightest minds in the defense and aerospace industry.
