- Learn and assist in planned maintenance of reefer and general cooling systems.
- Support diagnostic inspections to identify faults and repair methods.
- Assist in the selection of spare parts using manufacturer manuals.
- Maintain workshop tidiness and safe working conditions.
- Provide progress updates and report issues to supervisors.
- Gain knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems used in DP World engineering operations.
- Participate in continuous learning across different engineering departments including cranes, plant, and auxiliary equipment.
- Support senior technicians in repairs and operational readiness of equipment.
- Diploma or vocational qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration Engineering preferred.
- Strong interest in reefer and cooling system maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and ability to work under supervision.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and commitment to teamwork.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
