Role: Scrum Master
Location: Abu DhabiRole Overview:We are seeking a Scrum Master to lead agile initiatives within a high-impact, data-intensive environment. The ideal candidate will support teams working on complex statistical methodologies and macroeconomic indicators, particularly within the realm of External Sector Statistics (ESS). You will play a critical role in facilitating Agile best practices, engaging a diverse stakeholder network, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.Core Responsibilities:
- Guide Agile teams in the effective implementation of Scrum practices.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including vendors, IT, data governance, infosec, and business users.
- Manage and mitigate risks, dependencies, and conflicts across various stakeholder groups.
- Ensure delivery aligns with business objectives and tight timelines.
- Support teams in automating aspects of ESS compilation systems.
- Foster innovation and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in complex, data-centric environments.
- Strong track record managing dependencies and resolving cross-functional conflicts.
- Experience working with macroeconomic data or statistical models is an advantage.
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into actionable sprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Comfortable navigating complex organizational structures.
- Flexibility in handling various data types and project scopes.
- Willingness to learn and understand business needs related to statistical compilation.
- Flexible to contribute to automation initiatives and compilation processes.
- Basic understanding of modern technologies like AI and ML is a plus.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
