Inspector Mechanical

- Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and water supply, to ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and building codes
- Coordinate daily with other teams to document and verify the quality and quantity of work performed by contractors
- Process incoming inspection requests and technical submittals, taking necessary actions as required
- Read and interpret package contract documents, detailed drawings, and specifications, including any associated updates
- Monitor contractor compliance with standards and specifications through observation, measurements, and testing
- Maintain accurate records of contractor manpower and equipment resources on a daily basis
- Perform site supervision and inspections as instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer
- Document contractor activities, including personnel, equipment, location, and methods utilized
- Monitor and report on material deliveries and implement site instructions as directed by leadership
- Apply and enforce quality control procedures and quality assurance processes on-site
- Prepare site measurements and conduct surveying checks as needed
- Monitor health and safety practices during construction works and report any violations
- Write clear and concise reports detailing inspection findings and recommendations
- Diploma in Engineering required (Bachelor's degree preferred for career advancement)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Construction Supervision with a Consultancy, specifically in mechanical-related projects
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical methodologies, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and water supply systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and building codes
- Familiarity with installation processes and procedures for various mechanical systems
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control procedures in construction
- Experience in diverse building types, particularly high-rise, mixed-use residential and commercial, retail, and hospitality projects
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports
- Detailed knowledge of construction techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the construction industry
- Proficiency in using relevant software tools for inspection and reporting purposes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work on-site and in various weather conditions
