You are a dedicated nurse with excellent communication skills and a good knowledge of cosmetic Dermatology surgery and procedures. You facilitate optimum results by understanding an individual's needs and expectations.Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain choices to patients;
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick, accurate decisions;
- Practical skills for examining patients and performing clinical procedures;
- Ability to put patients at ease and inspire trust and confidence.
- Bachelor's Degree holder in Nursing;
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in the field of Dermatology Nursing (Medical or Aesthetic);
- Locally available candidates preferred;
- With Valid Medical License (MOH) in Nursing;
- Can acquire an NOC from the current company.
Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks as a Dermatology Nurse, General Assistant, and in marketing.Dermatology Nurse:
- Derma clinic, instruments and machinery preparation.
- Ensure instruments/tools are cleaned according to sterilization room SOP's;
- Checking expiration dates of materials;
- Count stock /check consumable inventory and place orders to supply chain under management;
- Assist in patient co-ordination with Advisor;
- Record patient treatment/history;
- Assist Dermatologist in preparation of patient /skin cleansing /numbing crème;
- Answer patient questions as well as explain the service or post-treatment / home care;
- Administering medication under doctor order;
- Provide chair-side assistance during treatments;
- Perform derma or laser skin treatments under the Dermatologist's guidelines;
- Perform laser hair removal and firming /sculpting treatments.
- Drawing blood samples for lab testing;
- Checking vital signs: temperature, respiratory rate, blood pressure and pulse rate and record;
- Give medication as per doctor's order;
- Build a rapport with patients and refer to other modalities.
- Partake in marketing events / social media activities;
- Promote new weekly, and monthly promotions;
- Promote yourself by the treatment you can do;
- Cross referrals to other treatment departments in the clinic.
