Working for Boskalis Seabed Intervention means working for the global partner of choice for creative and sustainable solutions.Job DescriptionMake your mark as Tender Engineer for the Business Unit Seabed Intervention. As a Tender Engineer you have the opportunity to make a major contribution. You support the Tender Manager, or work standalone (smaller projects), in developing and communicating the strategy for each Boskalis tender proposal. You perform the final check on quality and completeness of the proposal document to guarantee it meets both client’s and Boskalis’ standards. This means you have a direct impact on Boskalis Business!Winning a project is only the initial phase; its ultimate success is contingent upon its execution. We encourage occasional participation from the tender department in project execution, fostering better connections and the exchange of ideas between both departments.In this role, your primary workplace will be our office in Abu Dhabi, from where you will remotely provide support to our tender team.Your responsibilities as a tender engineer

You will review tender documents and draft summaries to support the commercial team in developing the strategy, planning and proposal documentation, and identify information deficits.
You will develop, coordinate and write the proposed work method, costs calculations, risk assessments and the overall bid deliverables together with supporting department.
You will liaise with subcontractors and partners.
You are responsible for the final check on the quality and completeness of the proposal documentation before submitting to the client.
You will develop and maintain a good working relationship with your client counterpart, communicate any clarifications and submit the proposal in accordance with client requirements.

Your qualitiesYou can make your mark as a tender engineer you will have:

At least 3 years of relevant work experience in either operations or with proposals and tenders, preferably in Dredging or Offshore Energy Market.
A finished Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in either a technical or nautical field.
Good command of written and spoken English.
A teamplayer mentality with focus on clients needs, common goals and want to joint the continuous learning cycle.

Your team: You are part of a team of Tender Managers, Proposal Engineers, Project Engineers and Cost Engineers, with different nationalities. The team is characterized by their informal yet professional way of working together, flexibility, adaptability, and work hard play hard mentality.
Full/part-time job: The function of Proposal Engineer is a fulltime position.
