- Develop and review engineering deliverables such as instrument index, data sheets, I/O lists, cause & effect diagrams, cable schedules, and control system architecture.
- Prepare and validate specifications and requisitions for field instruments, control systems, F&G systems, and packages.
- Ensure all engineering work complies with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and relevant international codes (e.g., IEC, ISA, API).
- Perform instrument sizing calculations for control valves, pressure safety valves, and flow elements using industry tools.
- Interface with process, electrical, piping, and layout teams to ensure proper integration of instrumentation systems.
- Support the preparation of installation drawings, loop diagrams, hook-up details, and cable routing in collaboration with design teams.
- Coordinate with vendors and participate in technical bid evaluations, FATs, and vendor document reviews.
- Provide engineering support during inter-discipline reviews, design checks, and client meetings.
- Assist during construction, commissioning, and offshore support as needed.
- Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- 8-15 years of experience in instrumentation engineering for offshore oil & gas projects.
- Saudi Aramco offshore project experience is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design phases in an EPCI environment.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., SPI/INtools, SmartPlant Instrumentation, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with offshore platform instrumentation including process control, safety systems, and field instrumentation.
- Experience in vendor coordination, specification reviews, and FATs.
- Strong communication and team coordination skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
