- Support budget preparation, monthly analysis and forecasts for cost centers in the region
- Track key budgeting components (Eg, discretionary items) to monitor spend usage.
- Partner with local offices to gather input, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment with company budgetary goals.
- Co-ordination and support central payroll team
- Responsible for timely updates of local regulatory platforms such Pensions, Direct and Indirect Tax filings ( Emara Tax)
- Support annual statutory audits and keeping external auditors on track to timely submission
- Support the Statutory audit and tax filing team
- Operation support
- Assist with document management for audits licences (Supporting in the local authority's audit, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of HR, and FTA audits that come to the Abu Dhabi office).
- Support procurement and vendor coordination for office needs by partnering with supply chain function
- Serve as a primary interface for internal and external stakeholders including accounting teams, government agencies
- Support the incountry leadership team on business needs
- Others- Adhoc duties per business needs
- Substantial work experience and proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tool
- Strong knowledge of regional regulations, government compliance platforms
- Excellent command of the English and Arabic language, both oral and written.
- Ability to work across multiple functions and business units by building effective relationships
- Active CPA or CA certification or Accounting Undergraduate Degree
- Internal controls focussed
- Prior financial business functional experience in a complex/ matrix organsiation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Proficient with SAP
