With HQ in Dubai and 16 offices globally.Role: Psychiatrist (Addictions)Location: Abu Dhabi, UAEHours: 5 days per week / 30 clinical hrs, various timings.Salary & Benefits: Fixed basic salary up to AED 80,000 + standard UAE benefits.Summary: Responsible for providing the full range of psychiatric diagnosis and treatment to out-patients. Specialised in using clinical practice in the treatment of addictions.Qualifications & Experience:MUST have at least 5 yrs relevant experience in a Clinic / Out Patient setting, specializing in Addiction Therapy.MUST hold DoH license or eligibility.MUST have excellent communication and Arabic language skills + English.IDEALLY already locally based in UAE with residency Visa.Working in a half-way house model for people with addictions, residential space for 18 people, following a comprehensive recovery program – individual and group therapy (CBT, DBT etc), vocational training, physical therapy. Outpatient follow up.Full MDT including psychiatry, psychology, peer recovery workers, support workers, nurses, GP etc.Not a detox facility – so anyone in the program will have already been detoxed in a medical facility or not need one.Must be able to join within 3 months.Primary Responsibility:Analyzes and evaluates patient data and test or examination findings to diagnose nature and extent of mental disorder.Prescribes, directs, and administers psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioural disorders.Counsel’s cases referred from other services by offering clinical advice or assuming full responsibility of the care.Conducts laboratory or diagnostic tests on patient to provide information on general physical condition and mental disorder.Contributes to the orientation of physicians, social workers, nurses and other Medical Organization personnel in the early detection, recognition and management of cases.Advises guardians, relatives, and significant others of patients' conditions and treatment.See www.InnovationUAE.com for more info.Due to the number of applicants we receive, if you have not heard from us within 14 days please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion.
