Job Description: Description of activities and key responsibilities of the functionOverseeing the work of other masonsEnsuring that all work is completed to a high standardTraining junior masonsFollowing all safety protocolsLiaising with other construction professionalsWorking in a variety of weather conditionsReading and interpreting blueprintsOrdering materials and suppliesMaintaining equipmentResolving any issues that arise during the construction processMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentSupervise and coordinate the activities of workers to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to project specifications.Assign tasks to workers based on their skills and the project requirements monitoring progress and quality of work.Train new team members on job duties safety protocols and company policies.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.Inspect equipment and materials regularly to meet safety and quality standards.Communicate effectively with project managers and other supervisors to coordinate work activities and resolve issues.Maintain accurate records of worker's attendance work performed and materials used.Provide feedback and recommendations to management on workflow worker performance and potential improvements.Handle minor disciplinary issues among workers promoting a positive and productive work environment.Ensure your competent and skill-based certificates are valid and communicate with the supervisor if getting expired.HSE Behavioral Skills

Adhere to NMDC HSE Policy.

Follow the HSE Management System procedures and safe working instructions.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

Higher Secondary level or equivalent

Relevant experience

Problem Solving & Decision Making

Team-building and Collaboration

Planning, Organizing and Execution

Proven experience as a mason

Strong knowledge of brick, block, and stone construction

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Strong leadership skills

Excellent problem-solving abilities

High level of physical fitness

Good communication skills

Ability to work in a team

Attention to detail

Function specific experience

Minimum 3 years related experience

Total Years of experience

At least 7 years of experience

OthersRole Specific Competencies

Skilled in specific trade supervision.
Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within the construction or manufacturing sectors.
Knowledge of industry safety standards regulations and best practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Fluent in English
