Job Type: Full TimeKey Responsibilities
- Perform internal controls and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with global governance frameworks and ADNOC policies.
- Conduct assurance testing and identify deficiencies, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Monitor KPIs for control activities and prepare reports for senior management.
- Support development of risk mitigation strategies and transformation initiatives to enhance process efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Advise on compliance with COSO, COBIT, IFRS, SOX, and corporate governance standards.
- Lead workshops and training to promote a strong risk and governance culture across the organization.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external auditors, and technology partners to ensure alignment with best practices.
- Contribute to process automation and digital transformation to enhance control and reporting systems.
- Participate in budget planning, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or similar are advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a global commodity trading or energy trading environment.
- Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, governance, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in ETRM systems and knowledge of financial and physical transaction structures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience engaging senior stakeholders.
