Job Description :We are seeking a skilled and experienced Planning Engineer to join our construction team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in project planning, scheduling, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely project delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & SchedulingDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning softwareEstablish work breakdown structures (WBS) and define logical relationships among tasksIdentify project milestones, deliverables, and key deadlinesProgress Monitoring & ControlMonitor project timelines and actual progress against baseline schedulesConduct critical path analysis (CPA) and recommend corrective actions for delaysPrepare weekly and monthly project progress reportsResource & Cost ManagementPlan and optimize the allocation of resources (labor, materials, and equipment)Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely material availabilityAssist in budgeting and cost tracking in collaboration with the cost control teamRisk & Compliance ManagementIdentify potential risks and implement mitigation strategiesEnsure adherence to UAE construction regulations, safety guidelines, and company policiesSupport contract and claim management processesCoordination & ReportingLiaise with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and consultantsAttend coordination meetings and provide planning inputs to all stakeholdersMaintain accurate documentation related to planning, scheduling, and progress trackingOther ContributionsConduct feasibility studies and support the preparation of cost estimatesContribute to the organization’s continuous improvement and quality enhancement initiativesPromote a culture of safety, accountability, and performance excellenceRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in construction planningProficiency in Primavera P6 and MS ProjectSolid knowledge of project life cycles, construction methodologies, and UAE regulationsStrong communication, coordination, and analytical skillsAbility to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to fast-paced environments
