Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on LV and MV electrical systems, control panels, motors, switchgear, and distribution boards
- Diagnose electrical issues, troubleshoot breakdowns, and implement effective solutions
- Supervise and coordinate with technicians and external contractors to execute maintenance tasks
- Monitor energy consumption and propose energy-saving initiatives
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and quality procedures (DEWA/ADDC regulations)
- Prepare maintenance reports, daily logs, and asset condition assessments
- Support in the planning and execution of equipment upgrades and replacements
- Participate in shutdowns, testing, commissioning, and inspections as required
- Maintain and update all related technical documentation and service records
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Certifications in HV/MV operations, PLC systems, or energy management are advantageous
- 5-7 years of experience in electrical maintenance (preferably in industrial, commercial, or facilities management sectors)
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, PLC-controlled equipment, generators, and UPS systems
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance software (CMMS) and diagnostics tools
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
