- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- 7 - 10 years of experience as an Estimator in a UAE-based building/high-rise contracting company.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, codes, and pricing.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and estimation/tendering software.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for building and high-rise projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine project scope and requirements.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost breakdowns in compliance with project requirements.
- Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Assist in tendering processes, bid preparation, and submission.
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project budgets.
- Monitor market prices, construction trends, and material availability in the UAE.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate pricing.
- Maintain a cost database for benchmarking and future project estimates.
