This executive-level role drives the concept design strategy for Azizi's residential portfolio, ensuring aesthetic, functional, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements are harmoniously integrated. You\'ll guide internal teams using cutting-edge design tools including AI and BIM platforms, maintain alignment with market trends, and act as a guardian of design excellence from inception to project turnover.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design development process from feasibility through schematic and pre-concept stages
- Integrate AI tools and automation to enhance concept creation and design efficiency
- Manage and mentor multidisciplinary design teams (architects, BIM technicians, visualizers)
- Develop project pitches, design narratives, and authority-compliant submittal kits
- Ensure design alignment with stakeholder inputs, cost plans, sustainability, and constructability
- Conduct team reviews, ensure code compliance (Dubai Municipality, IBC, NFPA, UDC), and uphold architectural excellence
- Maintain Studio Practice Guides and ensure safety-in-design principles are embedded throughout
- Collaborate with Authority Coordinators, suppliers, and contractors for seamless design execution
- Maintain documentation of all design decisions, justifications, and approvals
- Actively participate in R&D and represent the studio in workshops, seminars, and technical forums
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture (M.Sc. preferred)
- Minimum 25 years of experience in residential, retail, and mixed-use architectural design
- Proven track record in designing villas, low-rise, high-rise, and super high-rise projects
- Strong freehand sketching and architectural detailing skills
- Proficient in Adobe Suite, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, BIM (ISO 19650, PAS 1192), and Microsoft Office
- In-depth knowledge of local and international codes and authority guidelines
- Strong leadership, creative direction, and stakeholder management abilities
