The Junior Accountant for Cash & LPO responsibilities plays a crucial role in the financial operations of a distribution, supply chain, and logistics company. Manage daily cash transactions and ensure accurate recording in the accounting system.
Process and verify Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies as needed.
Support month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities.
