- Organizing imports and exports for international trade
- Managing international markets (deliveries to Europe from all over the world)
- Registration and preparation of documentation for customs clearance in Europe, work with customs brokers
- Understanding certification requirements in the EU
- Sourcing new service providers on favorable terms for the company
- Preparing reports and planning expenses
- Working with Business Process Management software
- Negotiating and signing contracts with new partners
- Proven experience in independently managing logistics processes and leading a logistics team (direct reports in the logistics department)
- Hands-on involvement in operational logistics and readiness to personally handle tasks, especially during process implementation or optimization
- Experience working with transportation companies and understanding of the freight and carrier market
- Solid knowledge of transportation and freight legislation, including international logistics
- Familiarity with Business Process Management (BPM) software
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and incoming requests
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in English and Russian (both written and spoken)
- High level of responsibility, reliability, and self-discipline
