- Lead the on-site instrumentation and telecom engineering team, ensuring all activities comply with project specifications and Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings.
- Review and approve design drawings, technical specifications, and documentation related to instrumentation and telecom systems, ensuring alignment with ADNOC standards.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of instrumentation systems (including sensors, control systems, SCADA) and telecom systems (including fiber optics, telecommunication networks, and radio systems).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to instrumentation and telecom equipment on-site to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct site inspections and reviews to ensure installation meets design standards, safety protocols, and ADNOC requirements.
- Coordinate with the construction team to ensure timely completion of instrumentation and telecom activities.
- Collaborate closely with project management, HSE teams, and other engineering disciplines to maintain project safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Lead and participate in project meetings, such as constructability reviews and technical discussions, providing input on instrumentation and telecom-related matters.
- Ensure the successful closing of engineering punch lists related to instrumentation and telecom systems during commissioning and pre-commissioning phases.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, and assist in generating weekly and monthly reports.
- Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory: Proven experience on ADNOC projects, specifically in instrumentation and telecom systems.
- Minimum of 15-18 years of experience in instrumentation and telecom engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role on large-scale oil & gas or industrial projects.
- Strong expertise in the design, installation, and commissioning of instrumentation systems, control systems, and telecom networks.
- Familiarity with ADNOC standards, as well as relevant codes and industry practices for instrumentation and telecom engineering.
- Proficiency in instrumentation and telecom software tools and systems (e.g., SCADA, DCS, and telecom networking software).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a hands-on approach to resolving on-site challenges.
