  • Plan and lead swim squad sessions for all age groups and ability levels
  • Organize and oversee the school's extracurricular swimming activities, including fixtures and inter-school tournaments
  • Deliver structured and engaging swimming lessons within the PE curriculum framework
  • Assist in general PE teaching and support physical literacy across different sports
  • Collaborate closely with PE staff to plan termly schedules, training programs, and student development targets
  • Foster competitive spirit and skill development through individualized coaching and team-building
  • Represent the school during sports events, open days, and extra-curricular showcases
  • Maintain safety, discipline, and professional coaching standards at all times
Candidate Requirements
  • Swim England Level 2 Teaching Swimming qualification (or equivalent international certification)
  • Previous coaching experience in school or competitive swim environments
  • A passion for student development and inclusive physical education
  • Excellent team collaboration, adaptability, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A creative and motivating coaching style that encourages participation and high achievement
  • Ability to contribute to school life beyond the pool, including academic engagement and whole-school events
  • Experience with multiple sports or fitness programs is a strong advantage
