This role involves leveraging expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) to support and enhance project delivery processes.The Candidate will be required to design the ITS infrastructure (Dry Utility) in Civil 3D and conduct the required clash analysis and conflicts resolution with the other utilities.What You'll Be DoingDesigning ITS infrastructure (Dry Utilities) using Civil 3D, conducting clash analysis, and resolving conflicts with other utilities to ensure seamless project integration and executionUtilize effective computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.Manage and use Common Data Environment for model production.Utilize moderately advanced software packages associated with building information modeling specialism/discipline.Apply advanced modeling principles and techniques to complete moderately complex assignments.Support the drafting of special provisions with oversight.Apply broad knowledge of engineering principles to modeling assignments.Complete model assurance reports with oversight.Communicate effectively with management, engineering, and production staff on modeling technical and non-technical subjects.Interface with other departments on matters relating to work assignments. The candidate shall be capable to perform clash analysis with other utilities and resolve the conflicts as directed by the EngineerSupervise subordinates and provide input regarding performance.Provide technical guidance and support the development of training materials.What Required Skills You'll BringDiploma or Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.Minimum 6+ years of related work experienceCertification from drafting or building information modeling software providers like Autodesk, Bentley Systems, etc.Proficient in Common Data Environment usage and management for model production.Proficient in utilizing moderately advanced software packages associated with building information modeling specialism/discipline.Proficient knowledge of advanced modeling principles and application.Dry utilities design capability using the AutoCAD Civil 3D.
