- Evaluate and manage patients with thyroid disorders through physical examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic testing
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for a wide range of thyroid conditions
- Perform surgical procedures including thyroidectomies, lobectomies, and lymph node dissections for thyroid cancer cases
- Utilize minimally invasive and endoscopic surgical techniques to enhance recovery and reduce patient discomfort
- Collaborate with endocrinologists, radiologists, and pathologists for a comprehensive approach to care
- Stay current with advancements and best practices in thyroid and endocrine surgery
- Mentor and train residents, fellows, and medical students in thyroid surgery techniques and procedures
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in General Surgery with fellowship training in Endocrine or Thyroid Surgery
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Consultant General Surgeon with a focus on thyroid procedures
- Licensed or eligible for licensing as a consultant surgeon in Abu Dhabi
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
