Project Manager / Structural Engineer – Prefabrication ConstructionAbout the RoleWe are seeking a technically strong Project Engineer or Structural Engineer with experience in prefabricated (modular or pre-cast) construction to oversee the execution of a major staff accommodation and residential project. The ideal candidate will have evolved from a site engineering background into a project management role, capable of overseeing structural execution, coordinating across disciplines, and ensuring quality and design alignment—particularly within prefab systems.This role is not limited to site supervision; it requires ownership of the project from a technical and delivery perspective, with a strong focus on structural integrity, coordination, and value engineering.Key Responsibilities• Lead and manage structural and prefabricated components of the construction project• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams across engineering, design, and execution• Evaluate and provide input on design drawings, structural systems, and prefab methodologies• Monitor fabrication, delivery, and on-site assembly of modular units• Identify opportunities for value engineering and optimization in prefab systems• Track project progress, identify technical risks, and maintain quality standards• Liaise with international engineering teams and support translation of structural requirements into site-ready actions• Ensure on-site execution aligns with design intent and structural requirements• Report directly to senior project leadership on progress, technical challenges, and performanceQualifications & Experience• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, ideally having progressed from site roles to project coordination• Strong knowledge of prefabricated or pre-cast concrete systems• Experience in residential or staff accommodation construction is preferred• International experience (e.g., China, Southeast Asia, or other prefab-advanced markets) is acceptable; GCC experience is not mandatory• Capable of reading, interpreting, and advising on structural and architectural plans• Hands-on knowledge of construction sequencing and prefab project workflows• Fluent in English• Strong coordination and negotiation skills, particularly with structural suppliers and site teams• Familiarity with structural design software and documentation management systemsWhat We’re Looking For• A motivated project engineer or structural specialist ready to step into a broader project management role• Someone who can take ownership of structural packages and prefabrication timelines• Technically sharp, detail-oriented, and able to work across multiple project stages• Able to liaise confidently with both site teams and international technical partners
