- Implement WCS FZE GHSE strategy in alignment with DP World's zero harm philosophy
- Provide leadership and technical advice on Health, Safety, Environmental, and Worker Welfare management
- Prepare HSE documentation, plans, and reports including CIRs, KPIs, and compliance audits
- Monitor safety performance on office and project sites, ensuring all activities meet regulatory requirements
- Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective action plans
- Conduct safety audits, emergency drills, and mock evacuations to improve preparedness
- Support procurement and project teams with HSE input in tenders and prequalification documents
- Engage contractors to enhance HSE performance through visible leadership, behavioral awareness, and recognition schemes
- Promote continuous improvement in safety standards and foster a culture of ownership among staff and contractors
- Liaise with government, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders on HSE matters
- Diploma or Degree in Health, Safety and Environment or related field
- Safety accreditation such as NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in major construction project environments
- Strong track record in incident investigations, including fatality cases
- Skilled in developing and managing corrective action programs
- Proven ability to deliver safety training and facilitate awareness programs
- Experience working with regulatory and labor organizations
- Strong project management and contractor management skills
- Excellent communication, reporting, and IT skills
